Well, it’s a new year here at Yellow 1. Last year I took the blog down as to let the boards shine for a while. Well, the boards are up and running smoothly. Currently, no applicants are nearing the final leg of training, and active agents are participating in two separate operations campaigns.
I want to personally thank Sp.Agents Michaels and Burns for making 2011 run smoothly. Agent Michaels has been leading the charge at revamping Legacy and he received a traditional induction thanks to his proximity to a pilot city. Agent Burns is making strong headway in a protocol-revamp that may have Y1 swallowing a bit of it’s own “change”.
Legacy took a long break but it looks like it may finally launch within the next month or so and our second campaign remains a clandestine operation. See Director Veles for clearance issues.
Once we reach some level of calm, I’d like our new Area Managers to produce media surrounding the ongoing campaigns and publish them via the youtube channel. Just for historical purposes. Then it will be time to evaluate whether we should enter a lull period or continue on with a good solid Global Recruiting Initiative or a few LRIs perhaps. With 1 more GRI, management positions and grandfathered positions would be filled until further notice. Special Agent is a special circumstance position not employed in traditional hierarchy, and only Agent positions will be available. This does not mean that department assignments would withheld. All departments (Internal Affairs, Public Affairs, Operations, Covert Operations, Research & Development, Finance, Human Resources, and the Executive Branch) are still in need of entry level positions.
As for this blog, well stay tuned. I’ve been off it for some time so it may be a chore to get back into the swing of things, but maybe not. You can join in too! Just register as a blog user and if you are an agent or applicant, gradual permissions will be afforded.
I will also be posting a FAQ on the about page of this blog (See top bar nav buttons). Mainly because we are tired of answering simple questions. This will make things easier for you and us. More to come, and welcome to another year of dodgy shit.

We continue to be in a building phase. Legacy continues to loom on the horizon. It has already formed as a repository of pre-written scientific journal entries. We are in the process of designing an outline of execution, with an end in sight at about 1 years time (If the project does not get scrapped). All information regarding Legacy will remain Sub Rosa indefinitely. There exists strict access protocols for those hoping to submit to, and subsequently attain Legacy. Some of you have already identified yourselves as potential candidates. This is all good and well, but the 1st Legacy Team will likely not be announced until late 1st quarter 2011. In the meantime, practicing recommended skills and the detailed documentation thereof may result in a favorable candidacy.
Time to hunker down with one of those snuggle blankets, before the fire, spark up a Cohiba Special Reserve and drip a few ounces of ice cold over an ounce of Lucid Absinthe. Call the dog to lay near, and imagine all the terror that exists beyond those doors. We’ve all been in the midst of the terror before, eh? Obsessive lovers, violence, broken hearts, and betrayal. Draco too, will have his day of reckoning.

Well it’s been quite a month. Lot’s of upgrades and many more to come. Let’s take this down in bullets.
- Google Analytics
We’ve seen a dramatic increase in online activity using the relatively new “Google Analytics” Feedback. This is still in it’s infancy somewhat. Directors are able to access the interactive maps and zoom all the way into different countries and cities, view IP data and the like. Cheers to our new friends in Gomel, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Pardubice, etc… I truly fell in love with the near east when I was there last. Molto, molto Bello! If you are not a Director, do not worry. We are sending the monthly PDF to all members with a Y1 email address. I’ll end it there, but just let me say that I am pleased to report that Y1 is reaching out to touch parts of the globe, near and far.
- New CPanel
The new CPanel should be relatively simple to navigate. It’s loaded with new features that we will discuss one by one, and all Inducted Agents with a Y1 email address should have access to it.
- New Scheduling
Those of you hoping to establish a department or organization meeting time may still do so using “whenisgood”, but for 1 on 1′s or for informing others of an engagement specific to Y1, you may login to the calendar function under CPanel/YMail. Here you can elect to make your date visible to everyone with a YMail account. It is very simple and you may even find it familiar.
- New Intranet through “Sites”
Similar to the Y1 Calendar, You can click on SITES from your inbox and establish a page (or ten) on the new Y1 Intranet. If you navigate there now, you will see a sample page that I have created. You can also use this share moderately sized files.
- Y1 Wiki
The public Y1 Wiki has been deleted.
- New Worpress Accounts
All Inducted Agents have been emailed access instructions to their new WordPress accounts. If you need assistance with this, do not hesitate to contact either myself or another Director. This account will give you Editor or Author Access to this Web Log. The login link is located on the right link bar and simply says, “Login”. Enjoy.
- WordPress Subscriber Access
Those of you who do not have a Y1 WordPress account can still follow posts by subscribing using the links on this page; or you can always use the RSS function with a feedburner or some similar app.
- Nexus Expansion
The Nexus is expanding under the direction of Director Tremonti and will be referred to as The Y1 Labyrinth henceforth. I’ve asked Jason to make this version very user friendly so that we can all put this powerful system to full use. Access to the Labyrinth should be relatively open book as well. More to come on this as Jason makes progress. It’s a huge job so please be patient.
- Beetagg Expansion
With smart phones increasingly becoming the norm, we are likely to begin using Beetaggs, datamatrices and QR codes more often and for kinds of posts. With Beetaggs “Beeing” used more for links to large sources of information bothe on yellow-1.org and elsewhere, and Datamatrices and QR Codes used for simple command lines and notifications.
- Beetagg Labyrinth Hybridization
This is a possibility after the Labyrinth is complete.

I’m pleased to see that Italian Operations got off to a running start in July, but I am still waiting on some things. SrA. Tuonela, please contact me regarding those things. I may be able to work with you on some things if I what I suspect is happening, is indeed, happening.

Legacy
All Inducted Agents who are in excellent physical and mental condition, who are free of allergies, without a history of migranes or epileptic events and who have shown no negative reactions to compound C17H21NO or nootropics such as g.flavone glycoside-terpene lactone should identify themselves to management immediately. You are a Legacy candidate. A parapsychological history should be included when you report. Legacy is 100% vouluntary.
